From My Students

"I was interested in understanding the different opportunities available in the tech space. And because I was relocating, I needed someone with vast knowledge to guide me. I was also interested in becoming a product owner and needed to understand a product owner’s duties and responsibilities, how to look for product owner jobs, and how best to approach interview questions. As a result of the program, I was able to secure a job within 2 months of relocating to Canada. To anyone considering the program, I would say that it is worth it and Petrina, the coach, is knowledgeable and knows what she’s doing."

"Before the program with Ms. Petrina, I did not have any type of formal coaching, I just went about my career in the way I knew best. I came in contact with Jayjom mostly because of their specialization in newcomers in the country. I was planning to relocate to Canada and was looking to land a good job as a newcomer in Canada. I did not want to start with entry-level jobs because I had acquired international experience. I needed someone to guide me in the right way to land a good job according to my qualifications and experiences. I wasn’t sure if the program would work or if I’ll see a return on my investment but I had to trust the process. As a result of the program, I was able to build more confidence and the exercises forced me to start job hunting early enough and tackle challenges with strategy. The program was enlightening and I’d say to anyone considering the program that they should trust the process and keep an open mind."
